Geoff Smith founded LP Enterprises in 2004, after a 25-year career with Procter & Gamble.   Geoff held various leadership positions in Information Technology at P&G including Deputy CIO, Director of e-Business, and CIO of P&G's $2 Billion Japan business unit. 

Much of Geoff's P&G career concentrated on driving bottom-line business results through the innovative use of IT in Sales, Marketing, and Market Research.  Of note, Geoff led the development of Procter's retailer and consumer-facing e-Business solutions.  This included re-launching the Company's website as well as creating a distributor information system that managed over $1 billion in sales and won CIO Magazine's Enterprise Value Award in 1998.

Geoff remains personally committed to the advancement of the IT profession -- he co-chairs the CIO Roundtable of Greater Cincinnati, serves on the IT Advisory Boards of several universities, and writes for CIO Magazine.
